Local photographer Ann MacGillivray has organised a Christmas quiz, which involves visting local shops to guess when a photo of the Triangle clock – which is also the prize – was taken.

Ann says there are clues about when the shot was taken in the photo itself, which is on display in Garson's butcher. Entries can be made over the road at the Manor Farm veg and fish shop – where there are also postcards for sale of the local area.

The closing date for entries is apparently December 21, the winner being the person making the closest guess.
