New website celebrates history of St Denys

St Denys websiteLocal resident Richard Cutler has launched an excellent new website celebrating the history of St Denys. It describes St Denys as “a village within a city”.

“Older generations who have lived in the area for many years carry with them wonderful stories about the past of St. Denys, including the history of The Priory, the role the River Itchen has played, the old garden nursery, the picture house, the trams, and much, much more,” says the site.

“The aim is to capture this history for future generations and to celebrate St. Denys in its current form.” You can find the website at http://www.st-denys.info
