There’s another chance to take a look around Townhill Park House Gardens at an open day on Sunday, July 13.
The gardens have been restored by The Friends of Townhill Park House Gardens, and Townhill Park House and Gardens are both Grade II listed buildings. The gardens were planned by Gertrude Jekyll, one of England’s most influential designers who created over 400 gardens in the UK, Europe and the USA. Since 1994 the house became home of The Gregg School, and was originally built on the site of an old farm.
There’s more information about Townhill Park House and Gardens on The Gregg School’s website.
The open day runs from 2pm – 5pm and features the music of Meridian Winds.
