Railways: day of action

“If you’re angry about our rip-off privatised railways, now’s the time to make a stand,” says Bring Back British Rail, which is campaigning for a re-unified national rail network “run for people not profit”. The pressure group says it's backing protests by Action for Rail and We Own It at stations all over the country on Tuesday  (including at Southampton Central station starting at a bright and early 5.30am!) – the day it’s announced how much train tickets will increase in the new year.
