Power cuts hit Bitterne Park

plugUpdate approx 1pm: Southern Electric say power now restored. Power cuts affected parts of Bitterne Park, SO18 and other areas of Southampton on Monday from around 8am and Southern Electric say they're still working to restore power.

 

Southern Electric told bitternepark.info that “their engineers have located an underground cable fault, and are currently working to re-route remaining customers affected in order to restore power.”

Writing on our Facebook page, Judith Ashton-Sparkles said: "I had to make tea on the BBQ !" while Daniel Massingham said: "It's driving me insane my power's cut out 4 times."
