An after-school drama club, designed to ignite the imagination and boost confidence, runs for primary and early secondary-age children from October in Bitterne Park.
‘Drama Days’ is led by trained drama teacher Liz Rickard, who said that the ethos is creativity and team spirit, with a focus on individuals having real opportunities to create, explore and develop ideas and imaginative thoughts.
The sessions are physical and engaging, allowing members to experience drama games, activities and improvisation exercises, as well as learning theatre techniques in rehearsals and workshops.
The Bitterne Park Drama Days club runs on Thursdays during term times from 4.15-5.45pm at Bitterne Park United Reform Church (SO18 1FZ).
Sessions are £5. For more information and to book, visit the Drama Days website.
