'Friendship & optimism' at peace & climate change day

climate rally 2014International Peace Day on Sunday (Sept 21) saw around 60 people singing for peace and walking together in Southampton's parks, then 'dovetailing' into a group of about 200 in Guildhall Square for Climate Change day.

Over free food from 'Food Not Bombs', many new connections were made, poems were acted out, and individuals took the mic to share their news, perspectives and ideas. The overall atmosphere was of friendship and optimism for a sustainable (and more interesting!) future.
