Southampton's ice rink saw nearly 4000 skaters take to the ice within its first week of opening.
Skating will continue into early 2007, with a guest
appearance in January by cast members of Mayflower Theatre’s ‘Swan Lake
on Ice’.
Sunday, January 21 will be the last opportunity to skate, and former
Coronation Street star and Dancing On Ice winner Gaynor Faye will be
promoting her new fitness video with her professional skating partner,
Daniel Whiston.
Tickets for the ice rink can be ordered in advance by calling the
Guildhall Box Office on 023 8063 2601 or logging on to
www.southampton.gov.uk/icerink. Alternatively, you can come along and
pay at the ice rink kiosk on the day. The ice rink will be open daily,
from 10am until 10pm.
