Fire at Tesco Express possible arson

Update: Suspected arson shuts Cobden Avenue Tesco
It’s reported
that a fire that broke out at Tesco Express on Cobden Avenue on Monday morning (Oct 27) is being treated as possible arson.

 

Hampshire Fire and Rescue say that twelve firefighters from St Marys and Hightown fire stations extinguished a blaze at a Cobden Avenue shop using a hosereel, jet and two breathing apparatus from around 5am

The incident was over by 6.20am, with the cause now investigation.
