Cobbett Friends speak out against library closures

Kevin Lancashire Chair FOCRLFriends of Cobbett Road Library will be making a deputation to the council on Wednesday at 2pm, and are inviting supporters who want to save the library from possible closure to come along and support the effort at the Civic Centre.

Chair of Friends of Cobbett Road Library Kevin Lancashire (above) will be speaking about the Labour council’s proposals for “community led initiatives or disposal" for Cobbett Road and four other city libraries, which he has described at “devastating”.
