Bitterne Park's fruit and veg shop The Veg Shed is set to pop up weekly instead of fortnightly at the Triangle after Christmas.
The enterprise, which started appearing on alternate Saturdays in September, is proving a hit with locals, while several other traders have also welcomed the initiative because it attracts more people to the Triangle on fruit and veg days.

The Veg Shed is scheduled to appear again before Christmas on both December 13 and December 20 from 9am-12pm for fruit and veg and "beautiful hand made Christmas wreaths", and then recommences operations after the festive period on a weekly basis from January 10.
