Manor Farm Road micro pub The Butcher’s Hook has had its plan for a small outdoor seating area at the front of the property approved.
The pub has been operating a ‘no drinks outside’ policy at all times recently, but now it will be able to use its space outside the property before it meets the pavement to increase capacity. Customers would be asked to come inside at 10.45pm, or finish drinks and leave by 11pm if the pub is full.
There was a small number of objectors to the proposal, and many more letters of support.
