Library closure: media coverage

radio interview
Retired librarian Doreen le Huquet interviewed by BBC Radio Solent's Jill Sainsbury outside the library

Residents called a press conference to protest at the Council’s proposals to shut Cobbett Road Library. There is a story on the BBC Hampshire website here, and there were reports throughout the day on Radio Solent's news bulletins featuring interviews with a range of library users. There was also coverage in some editions of the Echo on Thursday Feb 1.
