Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)is currently consulting over its plans to shut the health centre, which won a reprieve in October 2014.

TUSC are calling on people to assemble by the Red Lion pub in Bitterne Precinct on July 11.

A public meeting takes place prior to this at Christ the King and St Colman Catholic Church Hall on Thursday, July 9 from 6.30pm – 8.00pm. See below for venue information. The CCG will also have a stand at the Mela festival on July 11.

The deadline for responses is 5pm on Friday 4 September 2015.

 * John Avery has written to say that the catholic hall - the venue for the meeting - isn't in fact in Bitterne Road East as advertised by the CCG but in Commercial Street next to Bitterne East Library and on the corner of the Bitterne Health Centre car park.
