Laurie Holloway returns to Concorde Club

ImageLaurie Holloway (Musical Director of Parkinson & Strictly Come Dancing) and his trio return to the Concorde Club on Wednesday February 28.

Laurie has worked with, amongst others, Dame Cleo Laine, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, Anthony Newly, Elaine Paige, Rolf Harris and had a long association with the late legendary violinist Stephane Grappelli. He has written many a theme tune including Blind Date, Beadles About, Game for a Laugh and Parkinson.

He's joined by Alan Barnes - one of Britain's most renowned and well known saxophonists. Alan has played in bands with a wide range of styles including the
Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Humphrey Lyttelton & the Charlie Watts Tentet. He has toured the USA and Europe with the Bryan Ferry Band and appeared on sessions with Selina Jones, Bjork & Van Morrison.

First set: 9-10pm, Second set: 10.30-11.30pm
