Parents of children who are already or nearly 2-years-old can use the council’s online checker to find out if their child is entitled to a free place with a nursery, preschool or childminder for up to 15 hours a week.

They may also be eligible for a September start. They can find out if they qualify quickly by visiting the council's website at http://www.southampton.gov.uk/schools-learning/pre-school/2-year-olds.aspx
