Bluestar changes the route for its 16 service from Monday, September 28: It's "being rerouted via Bitterne to fill the gap left by First 12, which was withdrawn in the east of the city a few weeks ago," and it will now bypass much of Bitterne Park, as well as St Denys and Portswood.

Bluestar's 16 service now serves Townhill Park via Bitterne, and goes across Northam Bridge. It will also no longer serve city centre stops at Hanover Buildings, Above Bar, Cenotaph and past the RSH Hospital towards Portswood. For a map of the new route see Bluestar's site here.
