Free family singing workshop on Saturday

choral clans logoA new community singing project that aims to inspire families to get singing, enjoy the health and well-being benefits it brings and enjoy the power of participating together comes to Cobbett Road Library on Saturday (Nov 7).

"No experience or ability to read music is necessary for this multi-generational a capella singing opportunity, just bags of enthusiasm!" says the info for Choral Clans workshops, which are held in different locations around the city giving people a chance to attend close to home.

"These community workshops are aimed at family groups be that parents with children, grandparents, distant cousins twice removed or even best friends (because let’s face it, they’re family too!).  Children from primary school age and up are welcome to attend but please make sure an adult accompanies them (and sings along with gusto of course) at all times."
