The ever-popular Cobbett Road Christmas fayre takes place this year on Saturday (Dec 5) from 10.30am-12.30pm, with stall proceeds "going towards the library's [unknown] future".
Father Christmas will be available for consultations with younger community members, and there will also be the chance to pick up a gift or two from craft and charity stalls.
There will also be children's activities and a story time, and original artwork for sale by local artist Andy Dutton, raising money for a local homeless charity.
And don't forget the tea and cake: what would a Cobbett event be without tea and cake?
