If you've recently acquired a smartphone or tablet and don't yet know how to use it, or want help buying the right tablet, then this hands-on course to using and buying tablets and smartphones could be for you.

 

The course is billed as” easy and practical” and held over two Friday mornings at the Third Age Centre (3AC), Cranbury Terrace, Southampton SO14 0LH, from 10am-12:30pm.

“It is of particular use for people receiving benefits, including pensioners, and to people wanting to find out what's happening in the city,” says 3AC.

The programme of courses (of 2 sessions) continues into 2016 on Fri 15/22 Jan, and then rolls on for the foreseeable future: 31 Jan/5 Feb; 12/19 Feb; 26 Feb/4 Mar (and so on.)

Each session costs £5. There is also the opportunity to buy a cheap tablet if you wish to.
