“How can community activists and projects use websites and filmmaking to share their messages and reach wider audiences?” That's the topic for discussion on January 26 at The Roundabout Café in Mansbridge.
Dangerous Ideas, a group focusing on creative change in Southampton, is organising an informal discussion with Paul and Kate Maple about the role of websites and filmmaking in community action.
“It is apparent that whilst there is lots of interesting, pioneering and valuable community activity happening in the city and beyond, more could be done to spread the news of the various community projects that are happening,” says Dangerous Ideas on its website.
