Bitterne Park Triangle's pop-up veg shop The Veg Shed is introducing a scheme to help people recycle materials that are not presently collected by the council, including Tetra Paks, yoghurt pots and aluminium foil.

While some local authorities collect some of these items, Southampton doesn't, and The Veg Shed says they often end up in general household waste which is usually incinerated.

There will also be a collection for plastic milk bottle tops which can earn money for local charities like Naomi House.
