Artists and non-artists alike are invited to get creative at a workshop running at The Old Chemist on Sunday (Feb 7).
“Creativity is for everyone, artists and non-artists. It can open up aspects of ourselves we would like to experience more in our busy daily lives, and renew our vitality,” explain organisers.
The Creativity Workshop, led by led by Ana Cozendey, a graphic designer and children’s author, and Elke Papp, a writer and performance artist, will be exploring and sharing creative ideas using a variety of media.
Participants will be able to work individually and within a group, using words, painting and movement to express themselves and connect with others.
“The activities are conceived in a way that people with different skills and preferences will be able to approach them without pressure, focusing on the process rather than the product. The idea is to have fun and, at the end of the session, reflect on the experiences, seeing how we can benefit from them,” said Ana Cozendey.
