Thanks to John Payne, who sent us this picture of a deer he managed to snap on February 19 in our area.
John writes:
"I always have my camera with while walking the park and at 9:00 am this morning (Friday, Feb 19) I spotted this deer on the opposite bank between the pitch and putt and Mansbridge. We watched for several minutes as he seemed to be grooming himself.
"We are so fortunate to have this right on our door step!"
