An incredible 120 dads and children turned out for a 'Lego breakfast' at The Old Chemist in January – and many will be pleased to hear the event returns on Saturday (March 5) from nine o'clock until noon.

“It really shows that dads are up for spending some quality time with their kids,” said organiser Conroy Williams.
“One dad particularly mentioned how great it was to have something that was aimed at dads. Most of the other group activities he'd tried out tended to be attended by mainly mums.
“I remember what that's like and it's not always easy for some dads. This helps that.”
As well what organisers say is an opportunity to build 'quality dad time' together while playing with Lego, breakfast snacks are also available in the form of bacon butties and coffee.
Dads' Lego Breakfast is at The Old Chemist, Bitterne Park Triangle from 9.30am-noon on Saturday, March 5. £1 a head.
