The festival is free, and begins at 11.00 am at three venues in the city centre.
At the Arches Studio, 8-10 Captains Place (under Central Bridge) Terminus Terrace, Southampton SO14 3FE there will be a range of art exhibitions and sessions, including coastal textile designs and machine embroidery, yoga meditation, dream catchers and participatory art in 'Knit the Wall', from 11.00 am.
At the Weigh Vault, 58 French Street, Southampton SO14 2AT, there will be award-winning films, talks and Q & A sessions, from 12.00 noon.
At the Lancaster Vault, High Street, Southampton SO14 2AT there will be music from 1.00 pm.
Children will be able to enjoy close-up magic, face painting and a treasure trail with prizes.
The festival organisers believe that supporting the local arts scene helps to create a better community: "Invisible Movement is all about enhancing community pride, supporting local artists and bringing together different arts scenes in Southampton."
All profits will go to The Performing Arts Children's Charity, whose local branch in Eastleigh provides workshops for children and young people with additional needs, and also to the National Autistic Society.
