Stephanie Knight, who kindly supplied this picture, reports in her latest black swan update that six five cygnets on the Itchen near Riverside Park appear to be doing well. For more black swan pictures, from this year and last, click here.

Update April 8: Stephanie reports that the number of cygnets is down from 6 to 5. She said that the sixth, smaller cygnet had been spending a lot of time under its mother's wing and hadn't been feeding. "The remaining five looked fine last night: fingers crosssed the rest do well," she said.
