Bandstand Live! champions Southampton music & culture on Saturday

bandstand live logoBandstand Live, a free one-day event on Saturday (May 14, 2016), showcases “great music, great food and culture” in Palmerston Park, central Southampton.

 

It's billed as a family friendly community event, with music from The Novatones, The Costellos, Submariner, Davey Jones' Locker, Southampton Ukulele Jam and others appearing on the main stage.

On a second performing arts and culture stage there's an introduction to commercial hip hop, song writing tips with local singer-song writer Neil Maddock and Oddbox Theatre helping us to “become 100% fluent in Shakespeare"!

Bandstand LIVE! Is a collaboration between Bitterne Park company Matt Bunday Events, Voice FM Radio and Solent University, and runs from 12pm to 7pm.
