Become more deaf aware

central libraryAs a follow-up to this year’s Deaf Awareness Week, Southampton Libraries are holding an event at Central Library on Thursday May 26, from 10 am to 4 pm, to raise awareness of organisations and agencies offering support to people who are facing hearing loss.

The day will offer an opportunity to meet representatives from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Action on Hearing Loss and Microlink, as well as the Police Link Officer for the Deaf and the Employment Officer for Hearing Impairment.
