A book of remembrance has been organised for people to sign and share memories following the tragic death of Sandro, the much-loved former proprietor of Il Picchio café at the Triangle. His funeral takes place on Friday (May 27).
The book of remembrance has been organised by local resident Sabrina Bushell, who's recently met with Sandro's family.
Sabrina said: ”I'm happy if people want to sign the book and perhaps offer some memories: they can send me a text or give me a ring on 07780 733 906. I am local in Cobden Gardens so they can just nip round and sign it.”

Sabrina said having seen Sandro's family she felt the book was becoming more significant, as the café had been such an important part of Sandro's life.
She said she isn't trying to complete the book in time for the funeral on Friday, but rather would pass it to Sandro's family once everyone who wanted to had had a chance to contribute.
Sandro's funeral takes place in the East Chapel, Southampton Crematorium (SO16 3QB) at 9.45am, Friday, May 27. Sabrina says “cheery dress” is encouraged, and all are welcome.
