Scout group requests raffle donations to fund Switzerland trip

The 8th Itchen North scout group, which meets at the Church of the Ascension in Bitterne Park, is asking local businesses if they can contribute raffle prizes to help raise funds for a trip to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland in 2017.

They say:

“In 2017 the Scouts have the opportunity to go on a trip to the Kandersteg International World scouting centre. However as part of their contribution toward the cost of the trip the Scouts have been asked to raise money to pay for some of the activities that they can do.

"Therefore as part of their fundraising they will be holding a raffle and other such things at their summer barbecue in July and we would like to ask if you would be interested in donating a prize towards this.

“If this is something you would be interested in getting involved with, we as a ‘Thank You’, would be happy to take some advertising on the trip to Kandersteg and take pictures of the scouts with your logo whilst on an Activity. Once back we will then give you a copy for you to put up in your business.”
