Southampton summer events continue - despite the weather!

ukes st denys fete 2016 by Judy Blake
Did heavy rain stop the playing at the St Denys Church fete on Saturday (June 25)? No it did not! Southampton Ukulele Jam continued inside the church. Others were meanwhile dodging the downpours at various  Southampton summer events: at Guildhall Square 'Street Jam Live' had to take refuge from the storms under the awning of Solent's James Matthews building – but still managed to continue with their "chilled out creative day". The good news is the rain's forecast to give it a rest on Monday – but it's set to return Tuesday and Wednesday. Pic: Judy Blake
