Droids, super hero shoots & more at Bitterne Leisure Centre toy & comic fayre

Bitterne-Con Toy and Comic Fayre is a family event that will feature:

  • Toy and Comic Dealers
  • Super Hero Photo Shoots
  • Retro Gaming Area
  • Droid and Robot Displays
  • Movie cars
  • And the Bitterne Park resident Dalek (pictured)

There will be a number of TV and movie characters including R2D2, C3PO, Deadpool, Spiderman and many more.

The event will also be attended by actors John Campling, best known as a Death Eather in Harry Potter; John Chapman, X-Wing fighter in Star Wars; and 90s Saturday morning favorites Trev and Simon.

Bitterne-Con is run by Nerdageddon, a local Southampton group who raise money for charities such as CLIC Sargent, Piam Brown ward at Southampton General Hospital and other charities.

It aims to raise funds to run a major fundraising event, ‘Def-Con’, in October.

Nerdageddon’s Bitterne-Con Toy and Comic Fayre is a Bitterne Leisure Centre, Dean Rd, Southampton SO18 6AQ, on Sunday July 3 from 11am-5pm.
Tickets on the door: £6/£4; in advance: £4.50/£3. Under 5s free.
