Tories take control in Southampton

The Conservatives have formed their first administration for 23 years in Southampton.

They formed a minority administration with 18 councillors, with all three of Bitterne Park's councillors included in the new cabinet.

Cabinet responsibilities include:

Children’s Services and learning - Cllr Peter Baillie

Adult Care and health - Cllr Ivan White

Housing & Neighbourhoods - Cllr Phil Williams
