According to Discover Southampton, the mobile cinema is “one of seven units custom build for the government in the late 1960s to tour and promote modern production techniques to British industry, this is the only surviving example still on the road.  Film screenings in the 22 seat on-board cinema will take place throughout each day”.

Free screenings take place from 11am – 6pm each day – just turn up. For more information about the programme see the Southampton Film Week website.
