At January’s Lego breakfast, an incredible 120 dads and children turned out.
As well as stacks of bricks for all kinds of construction projects, bacon butties and coffee are also available.
“What could possibly go wrong?” asks organiser Conroy Williams, who says Duplo has also been added this time for younger builders.
Talking about January’s packed session previously, he said:
“It really shows that dads are up for spending some quality time with their kids.”
“One dad particularly mentioned how great it was to have something that was aimed at dads. Most of the other group activities he'd tried out tended to be attended by mainly mums.
“I remember what that's like and it's not always easy for some dads. This helps that.”
Lego Breakfast is at The Old Chemist, Bitterne Park Triangle, from 9.30am-noon on Saturday, December 10. £1 entry per head.
