Can you Donate £12 and Give a Dinner to someone facing homelessness in Hampshire this Christmas, asks local homelessness charity Society of St James.

This from SSJ in their own words:

"If you haven't already, we hope that you can ‘Give a Dinner’ this Christmas and make a real difference to local adults and young people facing homelessness
Many people who access SSJ’s services are not just affected by homelessness. They are also battling other complex problems such as mental health issues, addiction and long term unemployment. These issues often damage relationships with friends and family, leaving them with virtually no support network, social isolation and feelings of hopelessness.
SSJ believes that every adult and young person accessing its services deserves to benefit from supportive company and a traditional Christmas meal in a warm and safe environment. To provide this though, we are urgently asking for your help. Our frontline staff teams have calculated that it costs £12 to give someone struggling this Christmas a full roast dinner with all the trimmings.
Can you Give a Dinner to people who are homeless this Christmas?
You can also make a text donation of up to £10 to this appeal.
Just send our code "MEAL22" and the amount you wish to donate to 70070
e.g. text: MEAL22£5 to 70070 to donate a fiver.
When you support our Christmas ‘Give A Dinner’ appeal, it’s clear that you are not just providing someone with a plate of food. This simple gesture can give a vital boost to someone’s emotional and psychological wellbeing over the festive period, making them feel less alone and a greater part of their community."
