The free event is designed to highlight the importance of caring for the environment while providing a fun family day out. There will be activities for adults and children of all ages: for example you can try sorting recyclable materials, get tips on composting at home and use pedal power to make fresh fruit juices.
There will also be a chance to get up close to the original recycled car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, meet a star from the Mayflower show and win tickets to see the production in July.
Throughout the day there will be music from the Original 106 radio show with live performances from the Dhol Drummers and Bollywood brass band.
The event will be held next to the Bargate monument from 9am to 4pm on Saturday June 30. The Mayor, Councillor Barnes-Andrews will officially open the event at 10.30am.
