The first art class, 'Experimenting with Art', begins at Spice Art Studios on Tuesday July 3 from 10am — 12pm.

Aimed at adults, the organisers say the six week course will allow you to get creative in a relaxed and informal way, encouraging even complete beginners to experiment with a variety of materials and methods to create interesting and individual works of art. The class is tutored by Lesley Rosewood.
The first four weeks will focus on techniques such as mixed media resists, collage, inks and textural painting. In the final two weeks you will have the opportunity to use your new skills to create your own canvas!

Course fees: Ł12 per week or you can pay for the whole course in advance at a discounted rate of Ł60.
