"I am trying to research my schooldays in Bitterne Park during 1940.  I lived in Oak Tree Road and I think my nearest school would have been in Manor Park Road. It would have been during 1940 and we moved away December 1940. I remember spending most of the time in air raid shelters. I wonder if anyone can tell me about the school during this time and does anyone remember being a pupil  here during 1940. I have lots of memories of those few months. It would great to hear from anyone. My name in those days was Pat Steele."
