Coming to a river near you on bank holiday Monday is the 28th annual charity duck race.
Article continues after this message...
The annual duck race sees members of the public sponsor individual plastic ducks, which are released at Mansbridge and then ‘race’ to Woodmill.
The winning duck's 'owner' walks away with a £250 prize.
Organised by Solent Lions, the race invariably draws large crowds in fine weather, and also raises cash for worthy causes.
The race starts from 2pm but you can sponsor ducks in the run up to the big event: there's often a stall in Riverside Park near the Woodmill car park where you can do this.
