
Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ (NST) Saturday Children’s Theatre starts this week, with shows for children aged 2 and up.

Coming to NST Campus on September 16 is Higgledy Piggledy Pie, the new show by award-winning company Noisy Oyster, pictured, featuring popular rhymes brought to life by vegetable puppets, stunty dumpty unicycling on a tightrope and original music.
On September 23, Soap Soup Theatre presents The Pixies’ Scarf, a magical adventure story set in the world of The Wee Folk.
Hand to Mouth Theatre brings Town Mouse, Country Mouse, a tale of bravery and mousey derring-do to NST Campus on September 30 with musical chickens and a guest appearance from The Man in the Moon.
The season also includes Norwich Puppet Theatre’s playful retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s romantic tale Steadfast Tin Soldier, which uses light, projected animations and puppetry to create a theatrical experience that will engage young hearts and minds.
The season culminates with Get Lost and Found’s Mischief And Mysteries In Moominvalley on October 14, which include magical puppetry, original music in an ingenious pop-up book setting.
