“The 75-minute Ghastly Grim and Gory walking tour around Southampton is in the style of the very popular Horrible Histories. Children thoroughly enjoy our tales of traitors and pirates, shipwrecks and cannibalism, executions and exhumations, lavatories and poor bathing habits as well as disease and death”, say See Southampton on Facebook.

It takes place from 1.30pm on Wednesday October 25 from the lions at the Bargate.

See Southampton say: “Adults are £5 each with two accompanying children free and £5 for a third child. For safety and supervisory reasons we do not accept unaccompanied children and the maximum number of children per adult is three. Booking is essential so visit our website seesouthampton.co.uk to book a place.”
