Help clean local nature reserve

chessel bayAutumn has arrived, and Friends of Chessel Bay, Surfers Against Sewage and Southampton City Council are gearing up to clear the rubbish from Local Nature Reserve Chessel Bay on Saturday, October 28 – and they'd love a helping hand.

Last spring volunteers cleared 760kg of rubbish from the bay.

This time the event runs from 10am-2pm, meeting at Quayside Road, SO18 1DP.

Under 18s need to be accompanied by a responsidble adult, parking is restricted and there are no toilets on site. For more information see the Facebook event.
