Pedestrian in critical condition following Bitterne Road West collision

bitterne rd west signPolice are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was left in a critical condition following a collision with a taxi opposite the BP petrol station on Bitterne Road West on Sunday (Nov 12).

 

She suffered life-threatening injuries and is in hospital after the collision, which police say happened just after 2am.

The car driver was uninjured.

PC Dave Hazlett said that the area was quite busy with traffic going to and from the city centre.

“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around this time who may have seen what happened or saw either the car or woman prior to the collision.”
