UPDATED Cobbett Hub and Library is running a survey to find out what local people would like from the venue, and how it could be developed to better suit the community’s needs.

Wendy Lee, who says she’s the third manager at Cobbett since Social Care in Action (SCA) and theatre group Unexpected Places took over the library’s running in June 2016, is “determined to develop the building into a thriving resource for residents and businesses”.
She said: “We really want to know the views of residents in Bitterne Park… We want to know what they would come to the venue for and how we can develop it to suit the community’s needs holistically.
“Apart from this we need to ensure we have consulted the community in order to apply for funding to update areas of the library to make it suitable for hiring etc.”
