‘Question Time’ on Southampton’s dirty air for local party candidates

clean air southampton colin lizUPDATED ‘Pressure group Clean Air Southampton hosts a ‘Question Time’ session with political candidates from various parties on Tuesday (April 24), debating the issue of the city’s dirty air.

“We would like this to be an opportunity for the politicians to tell us about their hopes, wishes and dreams for cleaning up Southampton's air and how they can work together to achieve a healthier city for all,” says Clean Air Southampton on its Eventbrite page.

Billed panellists are:

Chris Hammond - Labour Party
Jeremy Moulton - Conservative Party
Katherine Barbour - Green Party
Richard Blackman - Liberal Democrats
Andrew Pope - Southampton Independents

They’ll then put the most popular to the candidates at the event, which takes place in The Spark building, Solent University, East Park Terrace SO14 0YN from 6.30-9pm.

Tickets for the event are free, but need to be booked via this Eventbrite link, which also gives more details.
