There will be plant and seeds stalls, as well as children's craft activities, refreshments, and a themed book display.
In recent years the library was one of those on the list of Southampton libraries to be closed for good; a campaign to keep it open was successful and operations changed hands from the City Council to charity Social Care in Action (SCA).

Largely unchanged since it first opened in 1939, the library still sports its original wooden shelves as well as the central desk where the staff welcome you as you arrive.
As well as its role as a library, Cobbett hosts a number of community events and regular groups including councillor coffee mornings, police drop-in sessions, toddler groups, story and rhyme time, and language classes.
