Burglars broke in to the Manor Farm Road shop between 3am and 3.10am on Thursday, June 14.
rideride’s Tom Hughes said: “There were two lads peering through the window there, trying to jimmy the door open. They tried a few times… the window popped instead.
“They jumped in, went straight for a bike up there. Came into here, stole a mobile… and then on their way out stole another bike just by the door there.
He said it was the first break in attempt since September 2016, when a concrete block was put through the shop door.
Since then CCTV has been installed throughout.
Police have examined the scene since last week’s burglary for forensic evidence, and are appealing for anyone who saw or heard any unusual activity in the area at that time to contact them.
They can be contacted by phoning 101 quoting reference 44180221270, or you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
