Ten volunteers worked in very hot conditions on June 24 to clear the Angel Crescent Car Park and adjacent areas in Bitterne.

"The worst areas were in the utility area behind West End Road Sainsbury’s where either foxes or people rifling through bins had caused a bit of a mess. We also found a flat screen TV with a smashed screen – perhaps someone did not like a world cup result and took it out on the TV!" writes organiser David Eddy.
